2. Our Commitments
2.1. Equal Opportunities:
We ensure fairness in recruitment, training, promotion, and all employment practices, based on merit and ability, not protected characteristics.
Job applicants and employees will not face disadvantage due to any protected characteristic.
2.2. Non-Discrimination:
We prohibit discrimination (direct or indirect), whether intentional or unintentional, in all workplace activities, including pay, conditions, and interactions.
Examples include not excluding someone from a role due to age or denying training based on gender.
2.3. Harassment-Free Workplace:
Harassment, including bullying, unwanted conduct, or comments related to protected characteristics, is unacceptable. This covers verbal, physical, or written behaviour (e.g., offensive jokes, exclusion, or intimidation).
Sexual harassment, such as unwelcome advances or remarks, is explicitly forbidden.
2.4. Support for Diversity:
We welcome and support employees with diverse needs (e.g., reasonable adjustments for disabilities, flexible hours for parents).
We encourage an open culture where differences are respected.
